Singapore share prices ended 0.7% higher on Friday after a stronger finish on Wall Street.

The blue-chip Straits Times Index (STI) rose 18.40 points to close at 2,712.41.

In the broader market, gainers beat losers 247 to 148. Overall volume traded was 930.1 million shares worth S$806 million.

Among the gainers, Keppel Corp rose 1.9% to S$8.95, Noble Group climbed 2.5% to S$1.42, Sembcorp Marine ended 1.3% higher at S$3.81 while its parent group Sembcorp rose 1.0% to S$3.98.
